| Notice to Trade: India - Europe - direct service - joint operation MSC & CSAV | 20/07/2011 |
Mediterranean Shipping Company , S.A., (MSC )- and CSAV are pleased to announce their decision to jointly operate a Direct Container Service between India and Europe. CSAV will withdraw its current IMEX service from / to Europe and join the existing IPAK service of MSC. In the New IPAK Service, MSC will deploy 5 vessels of 6500 teus capacity and CSAV will deploy 2 vessels of 6500 teus capacity. This new arrangement will commence from August 2011 onwards. Port rotation of the New IPAK service Westbound remains unchanged. However on the Eastbound leg, the Jeddah call will be discontinued and performed with MSC’s Lion Service operating between Europe and the Far East. Port rotation will now be: Bremerhaven – Antwerp – Felixstowe – Salalah – Nhava Sheva – Pipavav – Mundra – Salalah – Jeddah – Gioia Tauro – Valencia – Bremerhaven Do not hestitate to contact us if you have any other questions. |
